Welcome to Ryan’s Yak Farm, a female-owned, family-run farm in Chenango County, New York.

Welcome to Ryan’s Yak Farm — where family, heritage, and heart meet on our historic farm in Chenango County, New York.
What started with one yak who needed a home has grown into a female-owned family farm led by Cody Elizabeth Ryan, with the help of her husband Craig and their children Hayden, Abigail, and Chase. Together, we’ve turned our family’s 1906 farm into a place full of life, laughter, and learning.
Here you’ll find our herd of yaks, mini Highlands, KuneKune pigs, goats, sheep, and more. Every animal has a story, and every visit is a chance to make new memories. From our Yak Shack full of homemade goodies and farm products, to our community events and farm experiences, there’s always something special happening at Ryan’s Yak Farm.
Come see what it means to live the FarmHer Lifestyle — where we work hard, love our animals, and share our farm’s story with every visitor who stops by.

What We Offer at Ryan’s Yak Farm
At Ryan’s Yak Farm, we believe in creating a space where visitors can connect with animals, nature, and family — while celebrating the legacy of our 1906 farm. Every part of what we do is built with love, purpose, and that imperfectly imperfect FarmHer charm.

To honor our heritage, care for our animals, and welcome everyone to experience the joy of simple farm life. At Ryan’s Yak Farm, every day is a chance to grow something beautiful — a dream, a family, or a memory.

To honor our family’s heritage while building a farm that connects people to the land, the animals, and the love that keeps it all growing.
We strive to create a place where visitors feel like family, where every animal has a story, and where hard work, heart, and humility shape a lasting legacy.

Our future is rooted in the same values that built this farm — family, faith, and a love for the land.
We see Ryan’s Yak Farm growing into a place where more people can slow down, learn, and reconnect with nature.
From our expanding herds and educational events to our dream of opening The Milk House 1906 Market and creating on-farm stays,
Our future is rooted in the same values that built this farm — family, faith, and a love for the land.
We see Ryan’s Yak Farm growing into a place where more people can slow down, learn, and reconnect with nature.
From our expanding herds and educational events to our dream of opening The Milk House 1906 Market and creating on-farm stays, our goal is to keep sharing the beauty of farm life in every season.
We’ll continue to grow with purpose, honoring our heritage while building something new for the next generation — perfectly imperfect, and perfectly ours.
